vibrantabyssDropped dad off at the airport a hair after midnight. Time to go find trouble!
And these have been getting long so
Had a really great time visiting with dad, many good discussions: academic, philosophical, social, engineering and more. A few conflicts, but those smoothed over rapidly. Likely could have spend a third week with him, which would have been pushing the record for peaceful coexistence. He did have a habit of crossing the street looking the wrong way, which gave me scares several times.
Photos will get uploaded at some point, but some road signs I found cool for one reason or another:
Please remember to slow to 20 km/hr when passing stopped school buses.
Penguin crossing, seal crossing, weka crossing.
The "road slippery" signs differentiate between "when wet" and "when frosty"
