Happy Cirque, happy Sox

Went to see Kooza tonight with surrealestate , tried to have dinner with klingonlandlady and frobzwiththingz  at Fasika on the way - service was slow despite them being told we wanted to leave by 6:30.  We had some yummy appetizers and then waited... and managed to get the main courses to go, at around 6:40.  Ah well, such is life.

We made really good time to the show, and had a tailgating diner there.  Had plenty of time to browse stuff before heading in.  And damn, it was a nice performance.  The juggler was amazing, the wheel of death was great.  The only low point was the trap - anyone know if that was an understudy or if she was recovering from an injury?

Bouncy and inspired to get out my spring stilts and start playing with them again (it's been about 18 months...)

All this and got home in time to catch the end of the Sox game (from the bottom of the 8th) with
warlord_mit and surrealestate .  Go, go, gadget comeback!

A really good evening for several reasons.
